🚀 Progress made
Have you ever had one of those days when you work from 9 AM till 5 PM, feel incredibly busy, but accomplish nothing significant?
Today was exactly like that for me. Maybe it’s because I skipped my morning routine, or maybe it's just the nature of a management job. I crossed off hundreds of small tasks, sent and responded to messages, invited a couple of friends for UX testing Zoom calls, and that was it.
Hopefully, tomorrow, I'll have something more interesting and encouraging to share with you.
🤔 Challenges and solutions: migration to AWS
Bad news: We need to migrate our app from our current server to a server located in the US to ensure smooth payment processing via Stripe.
To achieve this, we plan to use AWS (Amazon Web Services), which offers a 90-day free trial for renting servers. Additionally, we have applied for a $5,000 grant for startups. Although the chances of approval are not very high, we’ll keep our fingers crossed.
🎯 Weekly goals and metrics (nothing changed…)
Design and update our landing page.
Organize UX tests and interviews with 5 users to find bugs and UX issues.
Metrics:
Number of landing page sections designed: 0/7
Number of landing page sections implemented: 0/7
Users interviewed: 0/5 (but I invited 7 friends for UX tests)
🤪 P.S.: AI art
I asked ChatGPT to illustrate today’s post, and here’s the outcome:
May this feeling of “nothing significant” be the result of non measuring the impact of “small tasks”? ^__^
They say “the devil’s in the details”
