UI Tweaks, Design Updates & Concerns About the Quality of Peer Feedback

🚀 Progress made
We’ve made minor UI improvements based on UX test results. Here is how “Provide your feedback” screen currently looks like:
Bea suggested a new design for our landing page — we’ll be discussing it tomorrow with others.
🤔 Would our peer feedback system even work?
Our platform currently relies on users providing feedback to each other. But we have no idea if our users can provide high-quality feedback or how to motivate them to do so. Many users might only want to receive feedback without being willing to spend time reviewing others' projects.
The only way to learn this is by launching and observing the results…
🎯 Weekly goals and metrics
Design and update our landing page.
Organize UX tests and interviews with 5 users to find bugs and UX issues.
Metrics:
Number of landing page sections designed: 6/7
Number of landing page sections implemented: 0/7
Users interviewed: 4/5 (that’s enough for now)
🤪 P.S.: The Beginning of Infinity
I’m currently listening to “The Beginning of Infinity. Explanations That Transform the World” book by David Deutsch.
This book is about physics, humanity, our universe, and what makes us humans unique as a species. Spoiler: it’s our ability to learn and come up with explanations to control our environment what makes us stand out. Other animals simply rely on rules of thumb and natural selection.
I like this book because it makes me feel grateful for the life I have, and all the minor problems I experience seem absolutely irrelevant and not worth thinking about when compared to the scale of things happening in our universe.
